Marine Biology Project Day Area Marina Protetta di Portofino at the Camogli site with our partner team for Education for Sustainable Development and Marine Biology:

We start with a lecture on the biodiversity of the
Marine Protected Area and on the topic of „sustainable fishing with ligurian tonnarelle“. According to current research, the many hundreds of years old fishing system is one of the most sustainable fishing methods ever!

Followed by info talk with fishermen at the harbor, visit to the docu-center and onshore snorkeling (from shore) with identification work. During the months of June/July, sightings of sunfish may occur – with a little luck.
